Vehicles must be collected and returned in the condition agreed at the commencement of the rental. The hirer is responsible for the vehicle during the period of hire and must comply with applicable Kenyan traffic laws and the agreed rental conditions. ## Self-Drive Car Hire Requirements Customers requesting self-drive vehicle hire must provide the required identification and driving documentation. Requirements include: - Original valid driving licence. - Original identification document. - KRA PIN number. - Registered telephone number. - Workplace address. - Residential address. - Refundable security deposit. - Recent passport photograph where required. - Signed vehicle rental agreement. Accidents must be reported even where the apparent damage is minor. ## Damage Following an Accident Where an accident or careless driving results in damage, the hirer may be responsible for applicable repair costs, insurance excess and other costs for which the hirer is liable. The hirer must cooperate with reasonable requests concerning the location and condition of the vehicle. ## Chauffeur-Driven Vehicles Chauffeur-driven rentals are subject to separate service arrangements.
